Ride home was dry but i seem to have inherited Mr Ks game of dodge the dixkhead, 4 different people pulled out kn me, luckily id seen them all, even so 1 of them got my heart racing as was in a national speed limit section but still had to grab a fair handful of brake, like i say if i hadnt of seen him and not been off the gas and ready that would have ended badly

Took the long way home and gave it a load of stick. Or as much stick as you can give a heavy 70kg bike. Had the front sliding a little bit on a few occasions, I think I'm a bit too quick in trying to change direction. Maybe I get a bit carried away. Still, it was a great way to end the working day.
Wheeled it out and sprayed it down with ACF50, I'll give it a few days to let it creep into the right spots but I've out loads on so think it's pretty much already in the spots already!!
I had the kids, so the closest I got to the bike this weekend was putting the battery charger on. Well, trying to. Turns out the optimate lead has broken and KTM seem to have had an Italian moment when they designed the battery housing.

It was meant to be a road ride with just , 1 maybe 2 easy lanes thrown in .....The dirt rider got the better of me
It wouldn't be a ride out without coffee and cake
And pre clean
Not a massive ride but it was good to get out in the fresh air and the first ride on the 690 since purchasing in late 2016 .... Need to change a few things and make it better for me but first impressions are good for the big bike
Left the bike at home today, too tired to concentrate on riding - but I'm really hoping to get an email from No limits saying I have won a UK track day of my choice for next year as I won their predict a podium competition on facebook, not heard anything yet though
Not sure what track to do, was thinking the bike is really suited to a shorter twisty track BUT I have always wanted to do brands GP as only ever done the indy circuit coz GP is normally quite pricey so thinking if its free that may be the way I go but thinking the bike might run out of puff down the back straight

after watching Haslam at hawthorns yesterday maybe I don't want to be fast on the straights either haha, but as said Ive done indy circuit 3 times now, but its a dream to do the GP
