Schäuferle - Franconian spiced and roast pork shoulder with beer sauce and potato dumplings, with some local beer and schnapps I had an excellent meal, feel quite stuffed now.

Re: What are you eating ??
Me and my lad had a chippy tea from Dads Lane last night. It's the best chippy in Brum. Not cheap but it's worth it.

Calves liver, bacon, mashed potato and roasted onion rings, with a great gravy/sauce.

No, not even a hint of it, tbh liver is a rare treat, I'm the only that likes it at home, so I might eat it two or three times a year, I eat oily fish far more regularly and they're high on the proscribed list of foods for people wanting to avoid gout.Kwacky wrote:have you ever had gout?
Don't forget, a little of what you like is good for you.

Re: What are you eating ??
A lovely tomato soup for starter, then chicken with veg and potatoes as main then a massive wedge of sticky toffee pudding with a scoop of ice cream. It was yum and I'm still nicely full
