Kawasaki
Went up to see my old bosses at Kawasaki today, they took me for lunch and when I got back they made me a formal job offer
I can start in October or when I am feeling well enough to do a full weeks work or a staged return in January
To say I am pleased is an under statement
Cant wait to buy a new bike for next year but have to sell my house go through a divorce and find somewhere to live 1st

Outstanding!
Well done mate, as rich says you obviously know your stuff and they have seen it. I hope this makes the crap to come easier to bare.
Looking forward to seeing the new bike, whatever it is.
<- you deserve that one

Re: Kawasaki
Great news Perks!! I'm seriously impressed how you've gritted through all this and I know you are still a long way from 100% but it seems the path is looking brighter.
Sorry to hear the divorce is still on the cards, I was really hoping with your health improving that situation may have as well.

Re: Kawasaki
That is truly corking news Perkles, to say I'm chuffed to bits for you would be a colossal understatement.
Sorry to hear about the divorce, however you've got a workable plan for the future which is a big part of putting your life back in order after your health is sorted.

I am think it might be wise to go back part time for a few months to settle in but will discuss things with my gp in September

A goal such as a return to work is an excellent marker to give yourself. Plus knowing that you've got a job to go to is a massive boost for your mental wellbeing.
