I had noticed the linkage fitted to the bike was after market and presumed it to make the rear end taller. i have changed it to stock and it was a lowering kit. I thought it turned in pretty quick before im guessing its going to be even faster now.
My forks were dropped through by 5mm as well, the bike turns on a sixpence now, you won't be disappointed Rocket!
Be aware of how the bike performs in the higher speed stuff, you may find raising the forks back up a couple of mm to be necessary if it gets a little unstable (Y)
Took it out round some of the local roads and spanked it within an inch of its life. Fairly sure the rear is done as it was spinning quite a lot, but the chicken strips look a bit more reasonable though the front is pretty good too.

I, like Cavetroll, seem to have found my mojo again.
Left handers feel massively more comfortable than they did in say April, right handers slightly less so but still feel so much better after the last couple of rideouts.
After wondering whether the litre engine is too much for the road (of course it is) I found myself today accelerating hard just to hear the wonderful engine noise barking back at me and feel the rush of adrenaline as the speedo figures struggle to keep up with the rest of the bike.
Cars in front? No problem. A mere 126 ponies will make very short work of them
Whoops, heading for this corner a bit fast? Once again, no problem with decent brakes and braided lines. And the tyres don't let me down either, despite being squared off enough to do drag racing!
Even the noise just sat by the roadside, listening to all the other bikes at the Quatt pinning it was glorious.
Just glorious.
In short, I've realised I've fallen back in love with biking. For a short while this year I was putting off riding it for one reason or another.
Trivial reasons like I might get a headache if I put the helmet on, or my leathers will be uncomfortable.
Basically some crap excuse would get in the way.
Now it's proper excuses only, like I'm away next week and it's my wedding anniversary the week after. And I'll no doubt sulk about both of them!
Nice little ride out with Itchy around Shropshire. No massive distances covered but we went on a few cracking roads and had fun. And breakfast, we had breakfast.
I gave the Street a quick wash before putting it away.
Multi in for service but just been out on the demo Supersport 939. What an absultely top piece of kit. Handling is spot on and has more than enough power. Will do a proper write up later.
