Weekend plans
Anyone up to anything?
Gym tonight then maybe a couple of pints
Saturday I've got to take Mrs Kwacky shopping for a new phone. This could be painful. Then I'm out on the night with some old school friends for a catch up. That will be very messy.
Sunday will be hangover recovery day.

Erecting a marquee and doing the school fete barbecue on Saturday. Might, if I can get away with it have a spin down to South Wales on Sunday.

Re: Weekend plans
Tomorrow's plan is a pt session at the gym, going on the bike as the trainer keeps saying I don't look like a biker... Then probably a ride.
Sunday, dinner in Cumbria with friends, bike or car depending on the weather.

Small world. I'm laying in bed right now erecting a 'marquee' of my own with my bedsheets.Monty wrote:Erecting a marquee and doing the school fete barbecue on Saturday.

Re: Weekend plans
Trying to chill out a bit tonight while grumbling about pain killers and no alcohol.
Tomorrow, taking the caravan out for it's first trip, then probably ignoring the no alcohol bit as the kids will be driving me mad.
Sunday, park the caravan in the yard and try to recover.

Prolly doing nowt......forecast is for 97F here today....although I might try an early morning MTB ride in a bit (not!!).

Re: Weekend plans
Albrighton Village Fayre today.
My daughter is on the Girl Guides float, dressed much to her "delight" as the Tin Man. So a big f*ck-off silver suit, silver face paint and a funnel hat that looks like it was made by a one-handed chimp is the order of the day.
I get the feeling she'll be miserable by the end of it.
Brekkie and a rideout tomorrow should make her feel better.
Well, it'll do it for me!

Re: Weekend plans
My Achilles tendon was hurting a bit when we left home to walk into the village.
4 hours of trudging around on it has left it in bits.
It's that sort of pain than has you having to psyche yourself up before you attempt to go up the stairs, and the one that has you almost crying by the time you get to the top!
I'm sincerely hoping it will have abated enough to get on the bike tomorrow.

Re: Weekend plans
I'd much rather be on the bike.
I'll get some Voltarol on it and see how things go. If i can get my boots on and change gear without crying, I'm still up for it.
