Nasty track day crash video
Skip to 2.40. Appears rider is taken out by bits of bodywork coming off the bike in front.

Re: Nasty track day crash video
Can't find any news about the rider is, I can only imagine a chunk of the yellow bikes undertray hit and crushed his windpipe. Makes me shudder to think of it.

Re: Nasty track day crash video
Frankie posted this on facebook. The rider is out cold.
One of the comments on youtube says that the rider is fine, but I can't find anything else out.

Re: Nasty track day crash video
It looked nasty cause he was out cold but it looks like he's very lucky. As the crash it's self does not look bad.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: Nasty track day crash video
Obviously knowing the guy is ok, I had to laugh at one of the comments on the site where I first saw it, They were taking the P#### out of someone saying that they should be embarrassed as this guy was out cold and overtook them down the straight lol....

Wow
I'm glad he fell off just before the barrier and not while the bike was hitting it
GWS chap.

The belly pan of the bike in front fell off and hit him in the face, knocking him out cold.Perkles wrote:That's a bizzare video,I guess design he was out cold but I wonder why

But to be far anyone can pass you on the straight but they have to be able to make the next corner!Kwacky wrote:The belly pan of the bike in front fell off and hit him in the face, knocking him out cold.Perkles wrote:That's a bizzare video,I guess design he was out cold but I wonder why

Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Re: Nasty track day crash video
That back straight is very very fast. On a 1000cc he could have been doing 180mph when he got hit
