WTF?
This day and age all this religious stuff is mindless. The world is bad enough with a muslim and a jewish homeland, we don,t need a christian homeland to be added to all this religious non sense.
I,d love to be frozen and wake up in a thousand years to see a religion free world in the future.

Re: WTF?
Do you think ending religion will stop people from killing each other and make the world a better place?

Re: WTF?
I think all religions should have a homeland , I would suggest that they all be in Antarctica .

Re: WTF?
I do kwacky and I have a reason for it which is as follows:Kwacky wrote:Do you think ending religion will stop people from killing each other and make the world a better place?
There are those people on earth who constantly think about religion that are truly mindless because human intelligence doesn,t exist in the brain of these types of people due to the fact that their minds are occupied with religious ideaology. And then there are those who use this naivity and stupidity or lack of intelligence in some people to their advantage in order to control these people to cause havoc and mayhem in the world to get richer or to become more powerfull.
Thetefore if there was no religion the minds of people would be free and their intelligence inside their brains would start working. If people were more intelligent they then can,t be controlled either hence the world becoming a much better place.
Today,s problems in this world stems from lack of intelligence in a lot of people around the world and without any religion this problem will not exist any more as much as it does now or at least things would be a lot better.

Re: WTF?
Hitler
Pol Pot
Stalin
Mugabe
Vlad the Impaler
Lenin
Idi Amin
Saddam Hussein
etc
etc
How many of their massacres were caused by religion?
Religion is the not the cause of atrocities, people are. Religion is just the same as any other belief, no matter where it orginates, it's a vehicle for men to commit violence.
Billions of people follow a faith. Very few of them commit acts of violence in the name of that religion.
To think the abolition of religion would cure the world of ills is idiotic. And I'm being polite there.

Re: WTF?
As I said earlier those who control the minds of people can do so because of lack of intelligence in people and one of the causes of lack of intelligence in people is religion. This is a scientific fact which can,t be ruled out. Intelligence in the brain does not work if the mind is full of garbage.

Re: WTF?
Religions used properly provide tools & rules for life, going all the way back to The Code Of Hammurabi & beyond.
They've been an intrinsic part, and in many ways a defining feature of the development of civilization.....and like it or not they're here to stay.
They're also a sign of high intelligence....the ability of being philosophical, etc....or just asking oneself the simple question "What more is there??"
So long, and thanks for all the fish...etc.

Re: WTF?
No I didn,t mean that kwacky. People who have a faith but are not constantly preoccupied with religious trash are fine. I,m talking about those who are thinking about nothing else other than their religious beliefs. Those people can not have an intelligent mind who are wide open to be controlled and abused by the controllers.
If you look at all religions, they were created by those who wanted to guide people to a better life but afterwards religion became a tool to control the minds of rhe masses and that to this day is still going on.

As people evolve and become more intelligent religion will lose its place in people,s minds.D41 wrote: They've been an intrinsic part, and in many ways a defining feature of the development of civilization.....and like it or not they're here to stay.

Re: WTF?
You're still saying that having a faith is a sign of a lack of intelligence.
You're telling me I should listen to what David Icke has to say and I'm the stupid one?

@ Fireball.
And it will always go on with a very small minority.
"I saw a guy speeding on his bike today - let's ban motorcycles!!"

Re: WTF?
Kwacky.. You want to believe what you wish to believe about what I,m saying and I don,t think you,re listening to me. I expect people to dicuss and fight for their beliefs with reasons and proof. Loud mouthing about intellectuals like David Icke or David Duke is not an intelligent act and I,m not saying you did that btw.
I also never said having a faith is stupid, however following a faith blind folded is.

Oh, my mistake. I obviously misread what you've been posting. I guess it's because I'm lacking intelligence.Fireball wrote:

Re: WTF?
I am all for freedom of religion , freedom of speech, freedom of thought , I don't believe that morality comes from religion , nor immorality, it comes from within the individual in both cases . I think problems arise due to incompatible moralities between religions and/or ideologies or differing interpretations of the same religion/ideology and these problems are generally caused by a minority .

Re: WTF?
There are 1.8 BILLION Muslims you think if they were all involved in terrorism there would be any of the west left ?
1% would be 18 Million
0.1% would be 1.8 Million , I doubt that there are that many involved in terrorism .
Therefore yes a TINY minority are actively involved in terrorism or ISIS.
There are however significant numbers of Muslims who support sharia law , which is not compatible with western norms and values .
