New ride
I went shopping this morning and picked myself up a shiny 2012 diablo red Street Triple R. This thing has been seriously babied. Previous owner did 3700 miles since new, and covered a massive 60 miles between previous services. It's pretty well specced, Arrow cans, Arrow rearsets, Triumph QS, levers, red anodised bits and an Öhlins shock. I hope it's realised it will now cover some decent mileage. I managed to get it home in the dry then it pissed down 5 miles from home. Ah well.

Nice bike Tony, looks ace in that colour. You'd best get polishing that link pipe if you've showed it some rain though they don't stay shiny for long

Re: New ride
Looks good....bar the awful rad surrounds.
They certainly are a sweet bike to ride. Had one as a courtesy bike a few years back when my then Speed Triple was in for service. Did over 200 miles on it in one day

Re: New ride
Cheers all. Yeah the pipes will be getting more attention than my past bikes, partly because sometimes I'm just too idle to strip the fairings off, I'd rather ride than faff about [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]
Looking forward to some nice weather, I'll keep the damp rides to a minimum until I get some crash protection.
The previous owner had some health problems which stopped him riding a lot of the time. He wanted to keep it for his grandson but his wife was having none of it.
