Bloody hell they can't start breaking until 250MPH because otherwise the aluminium will catch fire tats crazy! Greatest of luck to these guys hope they do manage to hit 1k MPH

I've followed the bloodhound since its started and read all of their posts and pics. Doesn't look old to me.
Key thing with it is they are doing it on a shoestring effectively. They don't have many millions as it's pretty much all sponsorship and goodwill from suppliers.
Tbh I'm hopeful they do it as its good old British technical brilliance and determination. I do worry it's a step too far mind.......
