Recovering from a nasty cold and had a Diabetic review at the local doctors, all good there, best blood sugar reading since I was diagnosed 23 years ago, excellent blood pressure with some weight loss and low cholesterol
I had yesterday off work but I'm back in later today.

I've been working at clearing the backyard this morning..... it's like the Brazilian rainforest back there. Or it was...it's a bit better now - I filled about 5 trashcans full of leaves, grass, branches, etc.
TBH, I'd like to napalm the whole thing into oblivion.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I'm having a lazy day. I've been pretty tired the last couple of weeks, so I'm spending all morning in bed, resting.

Tomorrow I'm looking forward to detaching from life and spending the day walking and enjoying some wildlife photography.
I'm thinking of upgrading my camera so I've hired the camera I'm looking to buy for the weekend.
For the camera nerds amongst us, it's a Canon R7.

Went for a walk with a friend today and set the world to rights...
Tomorrow we are heading down to the NEC to the bike show, see what there is to see but not expecting to find many bargains, might get some details to get some custom ear plugs made.

Hope you heal faster than I did this summer Frankie, I was astounded at how much longer it took me to bounce back these days.!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Cheers mate, I am able to walk on it, any pressure it hurts, like putting your shoes on lol. Still swollen. It was my own stupid fault, I could have waited a little longer to make my move, trying to be a smart arse I went for it on the outside of a burm which was too big and deep and threw me off into his back wheel. My heads ok but twisted my leg.... what a muppet!
As they say ran out of talent.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Hope you have a speedy recovery Frankie.
Today I did go to the NEC and it was really busy, not been walked in to as much for a long time so maybe a grey coat was a bad idea. I did get some impressions taken for some custom made ear plugs fromUltimate hearing protection and had a seat on several bikes, the most comfortable 3 which I could see myself owning were the BMW GS1250, Triumph Tiger 1200 and Honda's NT1100 but I didn't like the plethora of buttons or that the screen is so hard to adjust that I was bouncing the front of the bike, the Honda guy struggled to get it to move as well...
I like to think of Honda as engineering excellence, how did they get a screen adjuster so wrong? And how is it 5 button presses to turn the spotlights on or adjust the heated grips?
BMW have a lot of buttons but they do what you would think, not open a menu for you to navigate through, so I'm not sure that Honda is a contender plus a 2 year warranty seems a little stingy in a world where Ducati offer 4 years.
The revised V-Strom gets a tft dash to replace the 80's casio lcd dash so is another bike I would like to ride, I rode Sergio's 2016 model and it's low down grunt is what set the scene for replacing my 900XR, I miss having that instant torque.
