Ha ha I dont miss my driving up to that neck of the woods one bit. On the plus side it a dual carriageway now, i remember the days of single lanes, and sitting in traffic for hours on end!

Doing bugger-all today.... it's raining cats and dogs outside.

Took the dog to the vet for her booster.

She does like it there, they make a big fuss of her. It's a struggle to get her out.

Going for a bicycle ride in a few hours.
Normally I've got a 20-mile route that I do, but it occurred to me that I'm only going to be about 6-7 miles from my cousin's house.... it'll take me in the opposite direction from where I normally turn & head for home, but I could probably do with getting the extra miles under my belt..... not that I actually wear a belt, but you get the idea.

My 10 year anniversary of starting offshore today. Never thought I’d do a decade out here. Glad it’s coming to an end soon. Though I am grateful for what the job has afforded me and the position it’s put me in financially. But to be honest, if I knew what I know now, I probably wouldn’t have taken the job, especially the COVID isolation saga.

Family visit from one of my cousins from New Zealand with her family.

One day I will get myself down to Christchurch to see them and that beautiful country.

Rocking and rolling once again at work.

Massive earthquake just hit 600 km north east of us. Had some good ones in my time out here but that was by far the strongest and longest.

Extremely surprising we didn't trip out any of the plant, process levels were swinging madly all over the shop. Plenty of alarms but no executive actions thank goodness.
