I'm perfectly fine myself, thanks anyway Kwacky. Besides I would far prefer to be busily skulking round amongst lowlifes with whom I will never have any affiliations or attachments. By comparison I'm pretty sure that enduring the pressures that come from coping with family & domestic problems like Degee & the rest of you do, is far more commendable.Kwacky wrote:I hope you're ok mate

Re: What are you doing today ??
Back at work today after an amazing day off yesterday which involved mooching around guitar stores, putting my name on a 2 year waiting list for a boutique handmade effects pedal used by the likes of jimmy page and david gilmour and then watching Black Country Communion tear it up in the evening!

Getting ready for our holiday to Mexico. It seems lile forever ago since booking it up but it's finally here...well tomorrow at least. Got our Pesos, done the clothes washing, just got to clean the house, and pack our bags. Proper excited now

Re: What are you doing today ??
Have a great holiday Ross
I'm shattered, I've been on the go all day.
Had got up, dressed, feed the kids, made a bolognaise (yay for slow cookers, and I hate cooking) and got out the door by 10:15.. Spent most of the day chasing the kids round soft play..
Feed the kids again, do these fecking things ever stop eating? Now 2 loads of washing and a bloody large glass of wine.
I have no idea how single working parents do this!!

Fell flat on my arse this morning on ice... out first thing, walked across a large patch of black ice by the river. Funny how other things (not our bodies) become priority ha ha.... no damage to the camera's.... just my leg and arm feeling sore... What a Twat!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Well I was going to go for a ride, but my street was iced over so that got a nope from me as I watched the neighbours BMW making a meal of going up hill (that guy needs to learn subtle throttle control).
Later when it dried out a little I pulled the washer bottle out of dads Pug 206, it was pretty gunked up in the bottom, all vivid blue thanks to the screen wash he uses so I cleaned that out.
But alas, the washer jets still just dribbled at the front.
Then i spotted the 1 way valve was backwards (the handy little arrow on it must have confused the previous owner), turned it around and it was no better so I replaced it with a bit of PVC pipe.... Success. New valve ordered on Ebay before my fingers thawed out.
Topped off my car's washer bottle and oil, checked tyre pressures, gave it a pat on the steering wheel. 12 months on I am very happy with my humble Honda... Might treat it to a decent touch screen head unit.
I was supposed to go to the gym but I'm adapting to new medication, statins, good for cholesterol but known to cause muscle pain so that's tomorrow with any luck

Now wondering who turned out the lights, oh and the telly, and for that matter everyone else's lights on the street...

Drove for 7 hrs from home to Coffs Harbour. Only a 3.5 hr hitch tomorrow to make Surfers Paradise. Kids where remarkably good.
At home had the highest temps since records began. 46.3 deg C. Good day to head away! Though it didn’t get below 30 deg last night.
