At least the riots they are having means the behaviour of the England fans will look good in comparision.

Good first game last night. Some of the skills of some of the Brazilian players are just sublime.

The ref didn't help and if the Croats had a decent goalie it would have been a different game.

Its funny you say that about the Coat goalie but I cant beleive that Brazil dont have a better keeper than Julio Cesar, a man who hasnt played for ages and let alone at a top level, that surprised me, although I supose he is less of a joke than Gomes, so gald hes left spurs now

Well, a few positives and far too many negatives on the first game.
I think Rooney is going to be the same as last time and when he missed then my thoughts were confirmed ,
Did Roy not realise there is a left side and why wasn't it rectified in the second half.
Defence was borderline dreadful.
Positives : they new which way they were supposed to be going at times

England gave it a go for once. Disappointing result but i can cope with having a go and not quite being good enough.
We lack a world class goalscorer unfortunately and defence looks a bit disorganised. I though Baines looked way out of his depth.

I thought Baines played well but he was often put in difficult 2v1 situations and with the quality of the Italian players he was left with a lot of difficult choices to make. He was definitely needing more support from either one of the two defensive midfielders or Rooney on the left.
