Re: What are you doing today ??
Today I did the front suspension on the car, the driver's side shock was leaking a little so I decided to change both with a pair of new top mounts and ARB links for good measure. And a new serpentine belt.
Well the top mount's were wrong and didn't come with the bearings, and the belt was half the length of the one that came off
One terror ride to Euro car parts later (Dad's driving ) and £150 lighter of wallet and I have a new Dayco belt and KYB top mounts with bearings, a nice match to the KYB shocks.
Nearly 2 hours to fit that damned belt, I had to rope a neighbour in to help as it was so tight the top idler pulley had to come off and be bolted back on while I levered the tensioner back from underneath the car, £75 to supply and fit one at the dealer doesn't seem so bad after that. The car needs an alignment check but drives better.
A fun afternoon of swearing and minor blood loss
Oh and I put the bike on the Optimate so the battery is tip top for tomorrow.

A couple of quick pints yesterday afternoon turned into a session and an early birthday drink for my wife. I'm a bit delicate.

Housework. Staying at Jess’ till I go into hospital so gave the house a good work over so it’s all square when I finally get back.

4.45am.
Up and at 'em!!
A mountain bike ride is in order.
At least until I have a few ciggies & a coffee inside me and the full implications of what I just wrote sets in...
Then I'll probably wither back to bed.

I’ll second StM’s Motion, we can’t have another dog, so I get my canine fix vicariously (pics are #1 choice).

Re: What are you doing today ??
Here's one better.. a video of her doing a little bit of training on her first walk.
She's an 11 week old English Spring Spaniel. Really good amount of colour considering her mum is nearly all white.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I did it from from phone and it looked different so confused me - that doesn't take a lot these days haha.
Thanks for fixing it for me.
We didn't take our big camera, or in fact many photos, so will take some today hopefully. She's going on 2-3 small walks a day, gradually making them bigger and reducing the quantitiy.
