Sounds like a nice trip.
Today I saw a sliver Astra today with a bunch of stickers on it, one caught my eye on the door, I was sure it was the Tankslap hand in red...if it was, anyone on here ?

Re: What are you doing today ??
Sitting in emergency dept. little miss has being going both ends for over 6 hours and is rolling in and out of sleep. Couldn't even kept a mouthful of water down. Got worried about her hydration. They've given her anti nausea meds which seems to have stopped that end. Another 30 min and they'll let me take her home.
Young fella is staying the night at the grandparents. And I'll be washing all day tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get her home before midnight

Nothing more worrying than seeing your kids ill. She's in good hands and in no time she'll be bouncing around like nothing happened.

Back home now, she's had an hour free puking and crapping, so tucked up in my bed with me surrounded by towels. She's exhausted, so just hoping we get they the night ok.
Jess turned up mid blowout. She chipped in like it was her own child. She came with me and only left A&E when I told her to get some sleep as she's working tomorrow. Heart of gold that one.

Nothing worse than one of your kids being ill, you'd give anything to be ill for them instead, but it looks like your Jess has come up trumps, sounds like a keeper to me.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Thanks guys.
She got a solid sleep and no more fluid ejections were had. She's just complaining of a headache now which is understandable. The job today is trying to convince her to eat something, she is a bit gun shy about food now.
And yep, Jess is a gem

We've got 2 hours of technical training this afternoon. I'll be very surprised if I don't fall asleep.

Yeah. Staying in Premier Inn in Inverness for the first and last night and a B&B I found on AirB&B halfway round the route. Looking forward to it, I can ride at my own pace and stop and eat when and what I choose. Such a loner

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yeah that's the plan mate.
1st - Cov to Inverness
2nd - Leg 1 of NC500
3rd - Leg 2, finish back in Inverness
4th - Travel home
Thinking of adding another day in there to have a mooch around Loch Ness etc. Probably just over 1600 miles with the extra day in there.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Cheers Blade. I'll probably start a thread and update it as I go along with photos etc. I'm tempted to go and look at a bigger bike to do some longer rides on, there's a 955i Sprint ST with full luggage on eBay within 5 miles that finishes tomorrow. I did 700 miles in a day on my Tiger 800XC which was so easy. I'll see how I get on on the Street R...
