Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Went out for a 130 mile trip to Salisbury to a cafe called The Hillside Cafe. Was a nice ride up with brand new tyres that got replaced yesterday. Now have the Metzeler M5 Interact which was bedded in today. Wow they feel amazing compared to the pilot powers. These M5 stick like glue. They were a pleasure to use.
On my pilot powers the front needed to get replaced it kept slipping in the cold weather and wet weather but was fed up of the same tyre as had the powers for a year and half. So glad it did!!

I like the way blade has put his tail pack on so he can remember which bike is his.....

Met frankie up the super sausage cafe near Towcester this morning, loads of bikes there. The first time I've been there so handy to know for the future. The 999 was fantastic today but I ache now it's been a while since I did that many miles on a sports bike. Got back then stripped the mirrors and tail lights etc off ready for it going to Spain.

Sorry I missed it.
I did get a free hour or so to give the bike a bit of a scrub.
Bent down to give it a look over, ended up in a staring contest...

You spend all that time cleaning your bike and it gets covered in road grime the first time you ride it.

I don't mind it getting dirty, it then just needs another clean, I find it quite therapeutic TBH .
It was still sunny when I got back so it was up on the paddock stands, make a coffee put the radio on and away you go, only took about 30 mins to strip the indicators and tail plate etc off and give a quick clean, it wasn't really that dirty.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I LOVE cleaning my bike... a few times a year.
Really though, it's just frustrating - I love having a clean and shiny bike but the effort that goes into it and the amount of time it stays clean doesn't warrant cleaning it. 1 ride to Usk and back results in leathers, helmet, gloves and the front end and tank of my bike being pelted in sticky, oozy bugs!
Not fun

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I quite enjoy it when you see the hard work has actually made a difference. Mine was fully cleaned last weekend and one ride out has covered it in dirt, road grime and salt as in parts it's white!! But it was fully worth it I had a great ride out and at least I know the bike is fully coated in ACF50 so I know that the dirt isn't going to harm it for a little while yet!!

Cheers mate, thats what I thought, hence why I left man man walking past in, but kept Mick and the others static, (all were moving around lol) it looked too fuzzy all of them moving about, but I liked the walk past to stay inkiwikrasher wrote:Bike is looking good Kingfixer!

Nice ride home. Dunno why but the bike felt sweet. It's hard to explain but it just seemed to be working really well.
