Fwiw I've used the gerbings T12's in some of the heaviest rain I can remember riding in, yes my Tiger has brush guards as well, but I found most of the rain that found its way onto the gloves steamed off, leaving my hands a little humid but still toastie warm. I'd thought about waterproofing them before I wore them the first time, but decided against it after I'd tried them in the wet - I hadn't considered even considered Dukes point about the effect heat has on that waterproofing!
