Re: Kwackys MV Agusta F3 800 the bike ongoing review
The bike is booked for a service in just over a week. There's a service bulletin for the exhaust servo anyway so it'll be done as part of the service.

How much is a service for the MV?
Mine is due a service too and got a safety recall on the brakes. I really should get that booked in.

I paid about £240 for the MV.
The Honda is booked in on Thursday and I've been quoted £170

Re: Kwackys MV Agusta F3 800 ongoing review
I had a chat with the guy at BDS. He reckons the issue with the Healtec has been resolved on the MVs. Worst case is I try it and it doesn't work, so I send it back to him.Blade wrote:They list one and they have a guarantee and decent store to buy from if you fancied trying.
Maybe blag a free one as you offer to do a trail for him![]()
I've got one on order.
It's near the end of sportsbike season so the MV won't be out much now. Over winter I intend to take all the plastics off the bike and give it a proper clean and check over. It needs a Spudda style deep clean. I'm half tempted to take the rear shock off and have it refreshed. It's not done many miles but it is over 5 years old.

Give MCT a call they seem good with OEM suspension.
Alot want to steer you to aftermarket suspension but MCT always seem to have options and solutions for OEM stuff and have a great reputation.

I was going to go with Parkitt racing again. They did the rear shock on the ZX6R . MCT are a good shout though.
I'll see what the turnaround times are once I get the shock off.

Re: Kwackys MV Agusta F3 800 ongoing review
If I can prop the bike up. Ideally front and rear would go off for a refresh and set up.
Knowing me I'll go to use it in April and realise I've done bugger all with the bike![Big Smile :D](./images/smilies/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif)

Is Parkitt Racing near you? Maybe they do a ride in, ride out service if that's more convenient?

Yeah they're one of those who love to push aftermarket parts. There's been mixed reports recently about the quality of service.

If you want to borrow my abba stand for a while you are more than welcome. You would need to buy the fitting kit for your bike which is about £15.Kwacky wrote:If I can prop the bike up. Ideally front and rear would go off for a refresh and set up.

If it's got a flat enough sump I've got a bike lift and will help you strip it all down

Cheers Duke. That's reminded me I've got an abba stand in the garage. I bought it for the SX.

Drop Maxton a line and they will tell you what options they have available.
If you fill in the enquiry sheet in the link below they will email you back a spec sheet. They are very detailed with some good info as well as what options they offer. If nothing else the bike specific info is always very interesting.
