That's a shitter! What difference does it make that you had it checked by someone else? Does that let you off the hook?

It just means we'll both get a bollocking.

I've got proof that the report and email was deleted before the report was read so technically there's no breach. I'll just be told to be more careful in future.

Back offshore, hate it already (lol) applied for another job. Not saying anymore than that as I don't want to jinx it!

Decided after 2 years it's time for a change. The work is starting to get boring and the politics are taking over. One of the benefits of contracting it's the "easy come easy go" mentality.

Started sending stuff off for the background checks, and negotiated to give notice when I get back from holiday.

I completed my last day at DHL this morning and will be doing the same job at the same place from Sunday for Eddie Stobart / Culina It's an unusual feeling to have been sold from one company to the next like a commodity but it keeps my pay and conditions so it's worth giving it a go.

It seems strange to me that I will go back to weekly pay slips, but get paid every 2 weeks (fubar)

I know it's always the case, but why, when you're leaving or going on a 2 weeks holiday, are you SO busy for 3 weeks before hand?!

I've got half a day today. A construction client has just dumped a load of project contracts for me to review before Monday!

I've been asking for them for 6 weeks (headbang)

Tell them you'll be in an area where phone service is sketchy at best. Chile, Nepal, Basildon, etc.

Handed in my notice today, a lead balloon would have certainly gone down slower.

Another year.

Another annual review.

Another "sorry, no pay rise".

I think that's the sixth one. I've lost track.

I've stopped doing all the extra stuff they want, like training, supervision, client work and client entertainment. I'm just coasting now.
