It is expensive but Jemspeed and Jordans tend to be well over priced.

That 848 ... If I look at the picture any longer I may do a little sex wee..
Mind you, for a man who doesn't really like v-twins ??

Yeah I know. But now I've got 2 parallel twins in my garage. So I'm not far off going full Version.
The 848 is supposed to be a bit revvy.
As always I need test rides

848s have a really nice motor. The smaller Ducati sportsbikes are a bit revvier than the 1000cc+ bikes and have a nice balance of revs and torque.
The 848 Corse SE i rode a few years back was one of the nicest Ducatis i have ridden.

What about the one I posted earlier, Lower miles, more bling and cheaper???
One thing I would suggest
though Kwacky is get a long test ride. I know you have plenty of experience and run 2 parallel twins but when I test rode a vtwin the first time the first 30 minutes I hated and thought it was a tractor. The longer I stayed on it the more I got dialled into how to ride it and started to enjoy it. Just a suggestion from my personal experience.
Saying that as Duke suggests the 848 is quite revvy so a little less vtwin like in some ways and more civilised in its power delivery.
Enjoy the test rides and shopping

I think I prefer the look of the Evo dark. That one at Jemspeed is very low mileage as well.
As tempting as many of these Ducatis are I do need to spend time on one before buying.

Fair point and don't be worried about servicing and reliability the modern bikes are pretty much inline with any other brand and problems and expense seem resigned to history now.
The big up is they hold there money very well so surprisingly Ducati ownership can be quite cheap to be fair.

Just yes!!! That’s sexy as. I know Ducati’s arecsuppose to be red but that looks even more stunning imo.

I'm going to Jordan Bikes on the 29th to get my bike Dynoed. Do you want me to test ride it for you?

You can do but it won't tell me if I like it

Everything about that one looks great.....especially the way the colours cross over onto the tank....that's a really nice touch.
But what the fcuk is up with that bellypan/lowers?? It needs some black decals or something to flesh it out a bit.
I think I like it more than the grey bike
though, all things considered.

Reminded me of your zx6r. They do look good in the flesh in white imo, but obviously each to their own.

The ZX6R was a nice pearlescent white. I don't think I've seen a white 899 in the flesh so I'm not sure if it's the same effect

Looks like it's been Dulux'ed...and the red wheels ain't helping matters.

The white 899 is a matte/pearl
The white 848 is a pearl white
I believe Red wheels on a White Ducati is for the EVO models which means more power and better suspension usually
