Homemade Minestrone (recipe by a Mr Keith Floyd). It was pretty fair too, I even had a "slurp" whilst cooking as a nod to the founder of the feast.

No, just the rest of the bottle of Rioja the original slurp came from, it'll only spoil if I leave it.Kwacky wrote:Did you wash that slurp down with a glass of white wine?

Porridge
Then a full English
followed by a slice of carrot cake
For reasons unknown I didn't fancy a Sunday roast. So I had chicken and salad with a jacket spud.

Re: What are you eating ??
Too much had a huge Chinese last night in Chinatown and then a 6 course breakfast for the 3rd day in a row. God a need to stop eating but it's all so nice and unhealthy
The chilli salt and peper fresh crab was amazing though and my firm favourite at the Canton in China town.

Mini Gee's mango & raspberry empanadas, he's doing a dry run for food tech tomorrow and we're designated tasters. Verdict - very nice indeed!

I've been a slob again. Mixed shish kebab with rice and flat bread from the Turkish place we like.

Re: What are you eating ??
Last night I had a jacket potato with beans. I haven't had a jacket for quite some time as they take forever (2hours cooking in the oven) but dam it was good. It was cooked to perfection!! Even the skin was prefect!

Stab a spud all over with a fork Rossgo, then bung it in the microwave for about 10 mins. Then 20-30 mins in the oven will crisp it up. Heaps quicker.
