It comes down to money more than anything else. If we vote out then the stock market will react badly, so shares will drop, people and banks will get worried about making investments, pensions suffer, jobs are put at risk etc.

It could work out for the better, but it'll take about 15 years to find out if it was the right choice or not.

All betting is going on a Remain vote.

Even the germans can see the funny side of it all.

I tweeted that this morning. Good to see our neighbours have a sense of humour.

That's pretty funny all said and done.

I still think the UK has a pretty good position overall in the EU. And I don't see that if it were to leave that the ill-effects would be as disastrous as the naysayers predict....they're merely pushing their own ideology, and I think that's fine....freedom of speech, freedom to advertise you're not the sharpest tool in the political (water)shed, etc.

BUT!...I don't live there anymore, so I don't see the effects one way or another on a daily basis, so my ambivalence is a bit er...'distant' to say the least.

I don't know what your observations have been mate, but it appears to me that the greatest portion of people who are expressly passionate about their view on the subject, are the ones who want us to leave.
So, if a lot of the rest who are unsure (or just less passionate about the subject ) don't bother to vote......?

Its been what i have found too.
I suspect those who wish to remain have avoided spouting about it so as not to be on the receiving end of the vitriol, anger and hate being spread by a good proportion at the Outers at those who don't share the same view.

i have this horrible feeling we might be about to make a huge mistake.

I've voted. No guessing which way I went.

Tbh I have encountered the opposite to what people are describing above and only mention it to add some balance. In my experience most of the vocal people I meet on the subject are the Remain people. And alot of of negative comments have been aimed at people who want Out banding them all as rascisits which just isn't true.

From what I see it seems very close and there seems a very even split between those IN and those OUT.

I will be glad it's all over to be honest and what ever the outcome the world won't end tomorrow as some people are claiming.

Only 72% turnout, I wonder if those who "didn't bother" are kicking themselves now.
They will be, when they go on holiday & find that their money doesn't go far.

Looks like the TS Poll was quite accurate. Both on the result and the amount who turned out if you factor those who didnt turn out as the people in the TS Poll as those who were "couldn't give a toss camp".

It was a democratic vote and the result has been decided. For me I just hope as a nation, people and our politicians can accept the result, move on and together as a country starting improving our nation for all off us.

Sadly I think we now start the moaning, bitching and infighting stage. Let's just hope it's brief .

im very very shocked ,thats Cameron and his sidekick Osbourne fooked then .Well they havent succeeded on anything since being in goverment so good riddance to them but the country's going to be in turmoil for a while that is for sure
