What a pilot. No view out of the screens and a battered plane to land.

Not saying this pilot didn't do a great job, but pilots of airliners are all instrument rated, and as such should be able to make approach will within their skill set. Once on approach they utilise the ILS (Instrument Landing System) broadcast from the airport. This system depending on the aircraft type can work with the autopilot and can almost bring the aircraft in by itself. Pilots still need to do things like activate landing gear, flaps, speed brakes and manage the throttle. That said training to do something under control is a lot different to doing it when your life depends on it.

If I was on that flight my main concern would be parts breaking of the aircraft and being ingested by the engines.

That nose section is composite, covering the forward facing radar antenna, the pressurised bulkhead is behind that. Still not an ideal situation by any means.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
