I only go to a public gym once a week (I have my own gym at home), but the last few weeks, it has been packed to the rafters with hotties in yoga pants, there to be seen at the gym, not wearing very much.

I'm not really complaining, but it's a little irritating if you're actually there to work out.

I was standing out the front, post-session on Wednesday, awaiting my gym buddy (29, Swedish, Blonde, super hot) so we could go for a run and two of the above were standing out front smoking and giggling. I think they thought I was standing there checking them out.

When in fact, I haven't had a cig for 3 weeks and I was thinking that I would have happily torn off either of their arms for their cigs, hot or otherwise.

Perception, eh?

Fitness wise, this is the longest I've been healthy in just over two years, following a pair of bike crashes, and I've made the most of it. Got right back on my gym work and I'm loving it. :)

Sunday afternoons at my gym is when they have pole dancing lessons. The gym has started to get busy on Sunday afternoons. Mostly men as well. Strange.

Oh, the number of girls I've met in the last ten years who, since "pole dancing lessons" became popular, referred to themselves as "a bit of a pole dancer".

Yeah, two lessons falling off a pole doesn't make you a pole dancer, love. Any more than singing Karaoke once a week makes you a pop star.

Taekwondo on Mondays. Speed kicking, because you never know when you need to kick 50 people in a minute.

I ran out of Pre-workout and didn't replenish my stock.

I typically use a caffiene pill as preworkout when training on an empty stomach or if not, BSN NO-Xplode. I'll also take a scoop of creatine (always 30minutes before a workout).

Post workout I have 2 scoops of protein with another scoop of creatine (immediately afterward).

THe mix of pre-workout with creatine is pretty intense by the way.. I had to stop training back the one time just because I had so much forearm pump that I could no longer hold on to a weight! I'd done my entire back workout 3 times and was close to getting a 4th.

I tried a pre-workout powder but it made my skin itch. Horrible feeling.

Banana pre workout. Protein/BCAA shake post. Not really feeling the shakes, tbh, but I don't eat enough as it is and if I don't do something post workout, I'll end up looking like a string bean.

Post-workout trumps pre-workout.

A good post-workout such as USN Hardcore whey gh will see you right!

If you are to use a pre-workout, make sure you get a good recovery shake too

That's meant to be good stuff, I just find that it's often so expensive. I get my protein my "MyProtein" and it costs me £26 for 5kg of Whey Isolate

5 mile run last night, actually enjoyed it once I got going. Going to go to the club training session tomorrow, hills :)

I personally don't bother with pre or post training supplements unless I'm racing. Normally a cereal bar and a good dump sets me up.

A good dump is the most important pre-run race prep, and about 5 nervous wee's. (lol) (lol)

I sometimes take a few snake lollies especially the C2S with heart break hill. A good sugar hit just before it helps me out.

Any race 10+ miles then I go for a gel or two, I generally don't bother for training runs.

Not a bad week so far.
I've done weights at the gym before work 4 times and done 2 bag sessions as well. Starting to get back into this fitness lark.

Didn't make the hills session on weds and in back to struggling for motivation.

To make matters worse, I think I've just picked up another cold!
