You not going to try to sell the tyres and recoup a bit ??
I find i always come up with bright ideas for spending money and it seems to always clash when i need to pay for tyres or insurance.

"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: It's not cheap this biking hobby
The front tyre needed replacing because it's done too many miles.
The rear needed replacing because it had a 3 inch screw in it. The tyre is ripped now so I would be able to sell it.
I should get some money back when I sell the other petrol tank off the zx6r.

Jesus Kwacky that is a lot to spend in a matter of a week!! What wil you do with the ZX6R insurance? Will you renew it or wait it out until project is finished?

I'll insure it. I need to get my finger out and get it finished. Once I've got the petrol tank back I've got no excuse.

Brilliant Kwacky. Have you got a time period yet of when you'd like to see it finished?

Re: It's not cheap this biking hobby
End of July is what I'm aiming for. The painter said the tank will take two to three weeks. That said I seem to have something on every weekend for July.

Re: It's not cheap this biking hobby
It's shit, but on the plus side both bikes will be up and running and I won't have to spend anything for a while (I hope).
I might be able to get some money back by selling the damaged zx6r petrol tank and plastics.

Wow big bill to swallow. I guess as you say nothing to pay out for another 12 months and you know both bikes are in A1 condition.

Jesus Kwacky that's a hell of a lot to spend! I'm sure it will be worth it when you get the ZX up and running again.
