I assume the idea of the punishment in this case is to attempt to dissuade others from doing similar. The problem with a jammer is it allows you to commit an offence but avoid detection. Like being an invisible burglar.

If you were caught with one in your vehicle I would think you would need to show that it does indeed open and close your garage door to have any chance of avoiding prosecution.

Agree but its not hard to demonstrate that tbh.

Burglars are sent to jail all the time.

Radar jammers are legal and as said can be used for opening garage doors or as parking sensors.

This is an old thread which im only just reading but this guy seems a bit of a joker! Proper nobhead!! Like the idea of a laser jammer just in case you are doing a little over speed limit, cant imagine the old bill noticing a small amount so therefore would probably not investigate, however when a guy goes balls deep shooting his load when promising he wouldnt finish inside, its a little hard not to notice
