Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Someone at work can't work out why she's not losing weight. She was really good this weekend and cut out a lot of crap, so she's rewarding herself with a McDonalds breakfast.
Are you fooking thick? Put less in that fat mouth of yours, start thinking about what you're eating and do a bit more exercise than waddling to the snack machine.

There's a new restaurant on Baldwin Street in Bristol, called
WIFF WAFF
(part of the Ping Pong Noshery)
It has ping pong tables, and staff with top knots.
I am considering arson. I think it's a victimless crime, in this case.

I've been really good this week - I've eaten less than a household of 6's calories this week
I've done lots of exercise today - I walked up the stairs instead of using the stair lift
I've only drank water - ...the water that's mixed with sugary drinks
I've only drank zero calorie drink - I'm a dumba$$ who thinks Pepsi Max is healthy
I deserve a treat - I'm a f*cking idiot
That just about covers it...

I've had a rant at the kids about internet use.
I'll now as popular as a turd in a swimming pool.

People who don't pick up their dogs mess. There's at least one culprit that uses the little park by me where I walk my dog in the mornings. If I catch them I'm going to follow them home and they're getting dog eggs through their letter box. Scummy fu(k€rs.

Companies who write to you to acknowledge the details of a death you sent them and are closing the account
So they send the letter addressed to the dead person

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
The best one yet is the water company. They got my wife's details correct, addressed the letter to her, sent the letter to our address, expressed their condolences.
And the refund cheque was payable to............ Yep. My late mother-in-law.
The DWP is the biggest f**k up. My mother in law was getting carers allowance for her terminally ill husband. We told the DWP in September that Ron died, but the DWP get told anyway to prevent fraud.
In January we told the DWP that Ada had passed away.
So in January they ask us for a refund for the carers allowance paid for October. Fair enough,
3 weeks later they make a payment into the bank account for next month's allowance.
Followed by a letter 7 days later giving us 14 days to repay the last payment or go to court.
But that's not the best bit. Because they can't offset one against the other, they've given us a cheque for the widow's pension and told us there is more money to come.
Ladies and gentlemen, your tax dollars hard at work.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
"Please attend today's conference call so we can plan how we're going to go forward with this, it's quite important to us".
40 minutes on a conference call, which I have nothing to do with but the issue they wanted to discuss. Not so important that they want to discuss it before all their minor little issues, though. Oh no.
Ugh.
People irritate me immensely most of the time.

He's a slimy twunt. The CEO of Google gets paid more than they gave us in tax. Osborn's family and friends are all tax dodgers.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Of course he doesn't. The Tories were blatant about what their intentions were before they had a majority, when Nick "I'm not pointless, honest" Clegg and his useless lot were supposedly holding them in check.
Now, they're just utterly flagrant. Their laughter during PMQs is telling. They're going to rinse and rinse and rinse the country for everything they can get, because the public told them that's what they wanted. And nothing can stop them.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
We disagree there, I think that the Liberals actually did a decent job of watering down the tories.
The rest of your rant is spot on. And very alarming for all of us.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
They backed down on every single election promise they made. Every one. I realise that's the way of British politics, but personally I think that if you feel Clegg's leadership was successful, then you probably need a word with yourself. He's the leader who has almost crushed the party into nothingness.
Yeah, they attempted to stop some of the more draconian policies - along with other opposition, but most of those are now being put to parliament once again, except with a Tory majority.
Personally, I find liberalism to be the political equivalent of sitting on the fence because you don't want to offend anyone with your decision. It's wishy washy and pointless, centerism for the sake of not being offensive.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
The LibDems telling us what they were going to do if elected to govern this country is the same as me telling you what I'm going to do to Dita von Teese.
