Wow that's a bit naughty doubling it over night.
Do you get points like the UK or just hand over the euros and that's the end of it ?

Yes you get points but only if you have a french licence (which I don't have
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0100-smile.gif)
). For now anyway. That's changing next year. All European countries will share points and fines information and collection soon
The french have gone mad on speeding (as have many European countries now) as they have seen the UK model and how much money it can make.

Dammit, that's going to add at least 3 hours to my South of France journey times.

They are having a speeding week this week apparently, so lots of police focused on catching speeders.
I'm not going out

It would add an hour to our 120 mile journey from Reims to the Somme earlier this summer

A couple of 2 metre lengths of 20mm box section and some m10 threaded bar.
Just need some time in the garage for an A-Team moment and turn out a master piece of engineering

Walked in today after 4 days away and had a load of crap! Plus had the house inquiry form to fill in - anyone over 16 has to fill it in thing. Very easy just signed and sent back sorted!
