Obviously the factory desmosedici gp16 development is focusing on lightweight rather than out right power

I have another pic of that push bike on my phone, with chewed up slicks. Someone must have legs like superman.

The 899 replacement will be a 959cc bike. Sounds promising.

Hopefully it's a decebt upgrade and not just a capcity inctease to keep performance the same whilst meeting euro 4 regs.

And why call it a 959 when the capcity is 955cc and the 955 capcity has more heritage ?

Spotted coming out of the Bologna factory. Looks identical to the 1299 with the same spec as the 899.
