Re: What are you doing today ??
-1 at home this morning and for the first time ever, my workplace is warmer than home. Lovely drive in though, no traffic besides joining the motorway.
I love commuting in during sunrise blue hour.. you avoid blinding direct sunlight, it's light, you can see the clouds change colour minute on minute.

Feck me! Do you have a methamphetamine habit or something????Blade wrote:Hovering the garage
You need to visit and help me sort my garage out, I’ll pay you in drinks and food and you can give my Multi a thrash for me over the mountains as I haven’t been able to ride it for 4 months.
Just give me so notice so I can find a good meth supplier

Re: What are you doing today ??
Been running round like a maniac for the last four hours generally putting the contents of the house back to where they should be following decorators, plumbers and flooring contractors various works which had rendered some rooms unusable on and off during the last few weeks.
This all prior to my family arriving this evening for a catch up and for a Dia de Muertos party tomorrow night. We’ve never really gotten into Halloween, but fancied a party, we watched Coco and loved the idea of remembering family, so thought we’d give it a go. Fingers crossed all goes well!

It's Saturday and I'm still in Cyprus. You know what I'm doing by now!
Although the sun is a lot lower, it's very windy and there are only 5 people on the beach at 1440hrs.
And only one girl, who is the walking definition of a butch lesbian.
I think my beach days are numbered.

Printing out boarding passes and show tickets for next weekend..... Not that I'm looking forward to it or anything.. Much...

Re: What are you doing today ??
We did “Stir-up Sunday” where Christmas Pudding is mixed and a wish is made whilst stirring the pudding mixture, all good fun and very family oriented.
We also did a proper Sunday Lunch for my Sis, her new chap, my Neice and my Bro, a full 3 course lunch that leaves everyone feeling full and happy.
We’ve seen them off, so we’re just chilling after clearing everything up and getting the puddings cooking. It’s been a busy but great weekend and I’ll not be sorry to see my bed tonight, but I’m up at 4am to go to Wales in the morning though...

Nice chilled day today.
Started with a lie in, then family breakfast, took lad to football, watched Motogp, family country walk and then the local Italian for way too much food

Re: What are you doing today ??
A very sad day yesterday as our dog Dixie had to be put to sleep, she had been in the vets a lot lately, something was very wrong with her blood , something was destroying the red blood cells, then her kidneys started to fail, this is on top of her having really bad arthritis. The vets said they would have to do more tests and minor ops to try and find out whats wrong but really she had had enough, so we had to take the awful decision to let her go.
Lots of tears yesterday, and the mrs was still crying this morning, her regime was a 6am walk so getting up this morning with basically no dog to walk hit her a bit hard.

Kingfixer sorry to hear that. It's a hard decision for that. But will be in doggy heaven with all the belly rubs, tennis balls to chade and chew and doggy treats it can take!
