Bikepoint.com.au wrote:The nomenclature of the Ducati Hypermotard is nearly there. While 'Hyper' does a good job of describing the motorcycle, a more appropriate classification could be 'Hooliganmotard'. From the moment you swing a leg over this bike, the little voice from your left shoulder – with no regard to the guy on your right (common sense), starts to feed you ideas of wheelstands, burnouts and stoppies.
I absolutely think you should Cookie (happy)

Ohlins front and rear, 113bhp and 72fl/lb of torque. 178kg dry weight. Forged wheels.

Shakey Byrne tweeted the other day its one of the most fun bikes he has ridden ever. Whilst i wont have enough talent to ride it like he does, its still all relative.

Matt Wildee, PB editor rode it today and got into a short conversation with him. Asked him if it was more fun than a Panigale, he reckoned its a different kind of fun - This has more grip than power whereas the Panigale has more power than grip and they need to be ridden in different ways.

I did ride on the of 821 Hypermotards a few years back and that was a seriously punchy motor, really pulled hard out of corners.

I dont really know what i want to do for my next bike so need to look at all options, including just keeping what i have.

I've wanted one for as long as I knew they existed... Such an incredible looking and sounding bike with, what I would class as, the best of everything.

Comfortable seating position, agile handling, sufficient power, characterful engine, great looks, great sound

The old ones did suffer with reliability issues though... QA was not something Ducati had heard of I believe

Went to have a look at one of these today as JHP have just had one delivered and I was in the area with work with an hour to spare. Not quite as tall as I expected but need a test ride.

I test rode a Ktm Supermoto style a while back and it was hilarious, I wouldn't trust myself on another one ever again, well, not if I wanted a license anyway...

I used to ride a 125 2 stroke supermoto, always wanted a go on a 450!
