Must be the time of year or something Perkles, as I had exactly the same thing on Monday morningPerkles wrote:at the moment i am in between the MD and a female work colleagues arguement ,I just found her in floods of tears in the middle of the office,I hate it when women cry at work I have no idea how to handle it
I did give her the hug, but stood so that she was to my side as I did so. I don't think she noticed.?Kwacky wrote:Give her a hug and hope she doesn't notice the erection.
She stopped crying anyway.

Well the wind up process has started. I always find the end of a contract a little odd, you've basically done all the work you can do and you can't start anything new.
Southampton tomorrow to start the handover process of the last project.

Fire fighter refresher training.
Just had two hard BA wears this morning fighting class A and B fires and got a confined space exercise for this afternoon.
Wish I hadn't had two puddings at lunch time now, haha.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Having a well earned beer after the fire ground training.
Been lugging casualties round smoke filled modules up ladders and down stairs with internal temps in access of hundreds of degrees thanks to multiple big class A and B fires. To say I'm totally fooked now is an under statement last time I felt this knackered was after I ran a marathon in 26 degree Scottish sunshine.

Try it in 38 deg heat in Perth mate, I nearly died... Turnout gear is never a comfortable wear is it!
I'd gladly be doing Fire Training today, sitting here reviewing Work Packages (Work Instructions and Isolation Lists/P&ID's) for the up coming Shutdown, it's so mind numbing I'm seriously considering jumping overboard

Spent this morning trying to shake off a hangover before picking the kids up. Then spent the afternoon at a farm in the blazing sunshine, still with a hangover. There has been a lot of sweating going on today...
