Nice Kwacky really pleased for you mate, I was doing alright with my training but with the second chest infection in two months no gym for me, had the flu jab now so as soon as I start to feel normal again I'll be back
Glad the arm is strengthening mate, but more glad that you are feeling the benefits of the surgery
I've started trying to get back into the swing of gym now, as the late nights seem to have calmed down a bit now. Did a big cardio session last night and was quite happy with the results. I seem to be in better shape than I was expecting.

Legs last night. Having not done them for a couple of weeks and still feeling the effects from a weekend on the beer I failed to break any records. In fact I was ashamed of myself
'kin right they do.
Since I dislocated my shoulder I've been reduced to using 10lb dumbells for lateral raises.
Having said that, this week I've started a new programme as I've been feeling a bit stronger in the shoulder. 3 days in and every body part aches(easy now!), especially legs.
And Back.
And shoulders.
Oh, and chest!
More back work today, with snatch grip deadlifts to start the proceedings.
Went out for a run after work, 8km in 43 mins.. There was also a decent amount of incline on the route as well. The best bit is, it felt good, really good.
Next run, Thursday..

Good work mate, you are making me feel bad. As you can see on RunKeeper I've only run once or twice since city 2 surf
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
I'm at the gym. I've just done a set of snatch grip deadlifts. Due to my impeccable form(!) the bar was very close to my shins and has just ripped a scab off from Tuesday's deadlift session.
My leg is now leaking bright red.
There's nothing to mop it up with, save for those hygienic wipes that you use to wipe down the equipment after you've saturated it with your disgusting sweatiness.
I grab one.
I wipe.
It f***ing stings.
Just as I start dancing around making monkey noises I look up.
I stop.
There's a guy in the gym with a prosthetic leg. He's working out, not moaning, not hopping around because of a little boo-boo, not being a gigantic homo. Just getting on with it.
I suck it up, a little humbled, and proceed to destroy the rest of the workout.
Today's gym report was brought to you with a little perspective!
