Re: What are you doing today ??
Today been to our local Comic Con. Very small , i didnt know fheir main draw (Galactica?) and had D List celebrities but great to see peoples costumes. Some of the guys had great ones to be honest, even one lady was having her whole body painted...I didn't mind watching to be honest haha! Pics attached
Also after that me and my misses found out that our parking ticket from 4 weeks back has been cancelled. We won our appeal. Very happy about that!

I'm going out to get some flat pack shelving. But it's for my spiders so I don't mind going. And it's to a. DIY store so it's less likely to be full of shopping zombies.

Marshalling a 10k trail race, in torrential rain. Ran the route on Tuesday and it was bone dry, today however.

Flying out to Germany for a week suffering death by PowerPoint, offset only marginally by some decent scoff and beer.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Supposedly starting to pack our world possessions for a house move...possibly. In that horrid position of potentially moving but not exchanged but with so much to box up will have to start now . Everything will have to go into storage for a few months as we are downsizing by half and until extra space is found nowhere to put it...added to that all the animal crates to get checked and sorted it will be a nightmare...plus the house we hope to be moving to is at the end of a very narrow single track which won't take a full removal lorry... not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to move back home especially as I'd forgotten how expensive rural Oxfordshire is after being away for 3 years . Living in a building site for a year will be so much fun...not

Re: What are you doing today ??
Kicking around town for a few hours while the 4WD gets new tyres, brake discs, pads and wheel alignment.
Been meaning to change pads and discs myself but body can’t handle it atm. Just changing the tyre on the weekend (big lump of metal tore the tyre open) left me sore for a couple of days.
Taking the opportunity to have a late lazy breakfast at my favourite cafe and perv at all the business women walking past

Anything that involves using a big hammer means a good day. I have a variety of sizes - all of which work well in any situationCav wrote:I'm taking a sledgehammer to a wall today.. I think today will be a good day
