My richa gloves wrist strap broke today and I noticed some of the stitching is coming undone on both gloves ,I don't fancy a crash in them as they look like they wouldn't offer much protection
Any recommendations on a summer glove ? my budget is £100 max I used to like my alpine stars ones I had years ago
There over budget if you pay full price but I got the held phantom from Getgeared for £99 on a promotion and they are the best gloves I have ever owned including the £280 Dainese full Metal Racer which I didn't really rate so sold.
Try Getgeared as they are a first class company to deal with and always have promotions on. If the phantoms are out of budget I would still recommend trying to get something else from the held range of gloves as they really are the best in the market imo. I think they won the rider product test too, plus some German mags highly recommend. Held are a very much underated brand in the UK but starting to gain popularity as people become aware of then through tests and reviews.
I've got A-Stars SP2's, good price and I've crash tested two pairs so far. I'll buy them again. I'd say they saved me a good hand injury last crash, the knuckles on the LH had been ground down, and if it hadn't been the carbon there it would've been messy.

Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
If you want gloves that keep your hands cool , i can recommend the short Rev-It Chevron gloves. Top quality and excellent fit and plenty of air flowing through them.
The knox gloves get rave reviews and I heard alot of racers were buying them with there own money instead of using a sponsors glove which has got to speak volumes.
