I need to treat the Versys. I've left it at home today, I'm bored of riding in the rain.

Full wash for the Versys. Rinsed down, then rinsed with soapy water, then rinsed again with warm water. Washed by hand with SDOC100, rinsed again then dried. Covered in ACF 50, then all black plastics and rubber treated with 303 Protector. Bike waxed and polished. Chain degreased, washed dried then waxed.
Time for a cuppa then out with the XCP and a small brush to start on the various nuts and bolts.

I think I used too much ACF50, the bike was still smoking when I got to work

The mirrors I bought for the Street work really well on the Versys. Good view and easy to use. I thought they wouldn't be effective as they are lower. Plus they don't vibrate at speed.
The only thing I don't like about them is the blue glass. It's fine in the summer but I suspect they won't be very good in the dark or when it's dull.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Sent the bike for a dyno run. Got a phone call, asked what has been done to the bike. It just jumps into limp mode, My understanding was they could sort any bike, as they have trained personnel, for setting up the dyno. Only thing i know for sure, i pay by the hour, 50 scrouts. Money spent on shit end product. Need to take it to someone that has some better knowledge.

MOT'd and passed after 10 mins
She's still out the front so it'd be rude not to have a play later

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Gave the bike a good going over. Used snow foam, SDoc, Rhino Goo and also Auto Glym shampoo with warm water. It hasn't had a wash since January and it was filthy. When i got all the crap off it, it got polished and then got covered in ACF50. Chain was also degreased and relived first applying (smothering) ACF50 all over it then added some proper muc off chain lube.
Looks sparkling clean now and all protected for the coming months until winter.
