Know how you feel mate. When I had my nose cut to bits and the skin graft done ( skin cancer removal) I felt pretty low. I looked like Frankenstein for about 3 months. My ex wouldn't look me in the eye for about a month.

You'll get better, your a tough bloke, and the experience will make you wiser and stronger.
