Fitted the new fuel cap. Huge improvement as the old one was starting to look tatty.
Realistically i am running out of things to improve now. The only thing left is to replace the clutch m/c.

Been out early for a thrash.
Must do it more often this year as the roads are so much quieter early on a Sunday morning.

Well if they can't work out how to use their indicators you can't expect them to realise that a motorbike is going to blow them into the weeds!Kwacky wrote:a race from the lights with an M3.
Why do they bother?

Had a big rear slide this morning, guess I was too heavy with the right hand on a bend. TC did its job
Looks like I've sold the old plastics off the zx6r. I need to do a stock take to see what I've got left.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
fighting with trackday fairing best fit I have had but the quality is terrible. There is weaved backing and then the gel coat on top on the top and the gel coating in places is just cracking and falling off. What's annoying me more is a paid a little bit more as i read some reviews saying how good it was.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Fitted a CF rear hugger tonight, what a PITA !! Had to pack it with spacers etc to stip it catching the rear wheel, but at least that's it, nothing more getting done to it this year.

On the off chance you do send it back it might be worth looking at Race Products in Market Rasen, they aren't cheap but mine were spot on, fitted out of the box, dzu's included and fitted, plus they crash well and are flexible without the gel falling off.
Fwiw I was aimed at them by a friend that had tried them all and suffered your same problems.

Washed the SX, cleaned and lubed the chain, fitted an exhaust gasket, fitted some frame plugs and swapped some of the bolts for stainless ones.
