Cheers guys... and Kingfixer, I'll never have an Aussie accent! I'm quite proud I still get the piss taken out of me daily for my accent after being
here for 17 years of my life!
Bit of a non-event the birthday, still offshore on night shifts so slept most of it. I did help myself to a bit of cake out of the desserts fridge when I woke up this arvo, and the good coffee machine got fixed and was back in action, so highlight of the day! Have to wait another 8 days to have a proper birthday drink.

Very impressed Tony, I doubt google translate would have been that accurate! Kia Ora
Cheers Cookie and Blade, and no pressies, still in the middle of the Timor Sea. The kids are giving me the Bose headphones I bought online once I get back home and I doubt I'll be getting a present from their mother this year
I'm not big on pressies anyways, I prefer to 'do' something rather than 'get' something. A cool day out with the kids is what I'm really looking forward too.

I'll be honest, I did cheat. I asked a mate who is a Kiwi. Enjoy your time with your kids when you are ashore again.

Getting the QC25's noise canceling ones. I've got the QC15's I bought second hand, and they are brilliant but getting a bit tatty, so upgrading. I travel a lot for work and use them every day offshore watching stuff on my iPad. I had a stack of frequent flyer points so use them to buy them. But they are that good I'd pay retail at the drop of a hat. Very comfortable and class leaders in noise canceling.
