Ok I managed to get my self a little ride today, had a good day and managed to sell three machines, 8)
So I took the XR home via a small detour lol... Holy F***, does this thing motor, turns, feels planted, all in all a very good machine.
Same engine as in mine, full engine maps/modes, suspension modes, the full monty. I think this is going to be a good seller :)

The review in Bike magazine this month is very very good. It's now on my radar :). I need to find a BMW dealer over here for a test methinks.

I could finally see myself with a BMW now they have one with symmetrical head lights 8-|

But seriously, after the NZ tour, I'm rather keen on moving to this type of bike in the future.

Electronically controlled suspension system, Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) for optimum adaptation to the prevailing conditions as an optional extra

I notice it has a steering damper which on a bike with such lazy geometry compared to a sportsbike I m quite surprised at tbh.

Duke does the Multi need a Steering Damper ?

I've had one slapper from the SX so far.

That woke me up :D

Don't like the exhaust on it, too low IMO but I guess that's to allow use of panniers.

This Akrapovic can just launched for it would look good though.

I've never felt the need for one. I'm not the fastest rider i know but I do like to get a move on now and again.

I was just wondering if the multi had an SD as standard Duke, which I guess it doesn't which makes sense as I'm surprised the XR needs one tbh. Its a heavy bike with lazy steering geometry and a long wheelbase it should be a very stable by design.
