Exactly my thoughts...D6Nutz wrote:My legs !!!!
The only outcome I can see from this is the need to do more trackdays to strengthen my legs up
I find it kills on the inside of my bum going down my leg and also around the knee

For me it's the front of my thighs, blooming painful going down stairs...

The last track day I did, I had to get someone to hold the bike while I got off

Re: What ails you today?
Yep. Been there a few times myself. Combination of nerves, being scared, utterly terrified, sheer panic, etc.
First TD I ever did I was almost literally shitting bricks and throwing up I was so terrified.
Wasn't that bad as I thought once I got out there....OK, maybe it was. BUT....I kinda think it's supposed to be.
Hydration is usually the key.....and to my dismay that doesn't include vodka.

I'm on day 4 of a headache from hell. I thought I had managed to get rid of these. I was getting the occasional headache but nothing like I used to have. This one is back with vengeance.

Re: What ails you today?
I had a week off work and was ill for nearly 2 weeks recently. Caught a bug on holiday: tight stomach, no appetite, headaches, blurred vision, dizziness, loss of balance, loss of energy and strength, felt like I could sleep at any moment but was never actually tired enough to get a good night sleep.
I'm mostly better now but my vision is still a little blurred

I had a very similar lurg that kept me back from work for a week. It's been 5 weeks since I got it and I'm still not 100%. The appetite and lack of energy are still dragging on with a nagging cough. Bloody nasty strain going around this year.

I had man flu earlier in the year and it took weeks to shrug it off. Just as you thought it was going it would come back and give you another kicking.

Re: What ails you today?
My bloody big toe again. The foot pads we wear have a strap under the big toe so if you catch the pads the wrong way it pulls on the big toe, which is fine if you've got a healthy big toe. I've broken mine a couple of times so it's weak.

Re: What ails you today?
I feel your pain, bruv.
Countless times I caught mine whilst sparring, it sucks balls.
I kicked someone in a competition once, my pad missed the guy but my toe didn't, it lodged in his eye socket!
I was hopping around like a monkey on a hot plate but in fairness, I think I came out of it better off!
Getting back to your toe, it's a bit of a bummer because there isn't a great deal you can do about it.

Re: What ails you today?
That's the worst part. Putting on a normal pair of shoes this morning caused agony. I'm sat at work and my foot is throbbing and I'm half asleep. Poor night's sleep last night, each time I moved I woke up, usually covered in sweat.Itchy wrote: Getting back to your toe, it's a bit of a bummer because there isn't a great deal you can do about it.

Re: What ails you today?
The bruising on my toes is coming out, so I've got a black toe. It looks like it's about to fall off.
