Stay postive Perks as you say big change today and probably ly just first day nerves.
Good to hear they are nice people as that's at least half the battle won straight away. I m sure you will settled in and enjoy it soon as it has to better than where you were from what you were saying you needed to get out of the last place.

You will have doubts, you were in the last job for a long time.
The doubts will soon go though.

Fook that first day should be dedicated to a track day on a H2R.

Perks, fully appreciate what you are going through, hell my first year out here I was wondering if I'd made a big mistake!!
Sounds like you are with a good crew, a job that you are really passionate about and a top class product/company, I totally believe it'll all fall into place for you.
Onwards and upwards dude, you'll kill it!!!

Just washed the bike off, got very mucky from last weekends ride out. Spend the last two days doing these bloody Psychometric tests.... head is spinning so as a present to myself was a wash of the bike and now I am just about to go out for a little lunchtime ride out.

Re: What are you doing today ??
This evening in the B household, I will mainly be cutting the atmosphere with the proverbial knife. Kid is tired and grumpy from P.E at school and Mrs is grumpy and due one of those women's cycle. Miserable feckers, I, on the other hand am happy as Larry and making shit jokes that aren't going down very well.....as per, hahaha. My nans coming up for dinner too so I can't even go out on my bikecycle.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Spent the day looking at Primary Schools.
Not in a way that would interest the local constabulary mind you, but having guided tours to see which ones best suit my little terrors.
One of the headmasters rode a Sprint, which was a tick in the box for me but not enough to sway the decision in end.
Also been to have a nosey at the house we'll be moving into. Well, the outside at least, people are still living in there at the moment so peering through the windows wouldn't go down so well!
Still, looks nice and it's got an integrated garage. Yay!

Finding out that modern laptops aren't as robust when you dismantle them as their predecessors.
Anyone want to buy a build your own laptop kit?
