Having a bit of a chilled day today, last week before going back to work.. Few little jobs to get done round the house but thats about it.

Looking after my neiece as well as my son , gone to soft play as its raining its sodding mental.

Hopefully finishing work early and going to look at, with a view to buying, a bike from Louth in Lincs.

Very enjoyable and interesting day trip to have a guided tour of Concorde. Great day out all round.

Concord is tiny isn't it. And the flight deck looks so old.

But then I went in the Russian version of concord and that was even worse. I swear all their instruments were clockwork.

Not as small as I thought tbh but when you compare it to modern first class it's clearly not up to the grade.

At the time it was the best and truly a symbol of success (it was designed and first flew in the 60's) and world class engineering.

Apparently the Russians couldn't get the supersonic to work successfully as they copied everything but missed he air intake control ducts on the engine intake which slow the incoming air.

Going to work... Grumble grumble

Day started off well, making a coffee to go for my driver and myself (5.30am pickup) and the expresso pot slipped off the gas hob and a full pot went everywhere. Had to deconstruct the oven door to get to all the coffee spillage. Recovered and got a new pot on and still ready when he turned up.

Looking forward to that beer in Darwin.

Now in Darwin doing the usual, beer, book and sun.

First day back in work after having my son over for the week

Wondering what happened to summer.

Took the kids to a forest school activity this morning for a few hours. Had to take them in wellies and winter coats

Sat at home minding the kids, drinking beer and eating crisps baring sticking Jeremy Kyle on and lighting up a few tabs I'm a fully paid up chav today

Yeah I know feck it

Bored of being a chav now so whilst the rain briefly halted been in the garden with youngest to do some football coaching and now the rain is back just decided to get the eldest's chemistry set out and do something educational which hopefully won't end up in a mess or blowing the house up.

Now that is an amazing idea. Unfortunately nothing like that in the kit but I have a stink bomb auto generator stuck up my ass so never short on that front
