Sounds like my job (actual job) just minus the hourly arguing with builders (part time sorry scratch that 2nd full time job)Cavetroll87 wrote:work......
Only person in the office doing the job of 3 other people, 2 of which I am under qualified for, this week is turning into a very stressful hell!
Would like to say hope it gets better but reality is it probably won't

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
cheers mate, I wouldn't mind but half of it is issues caused by the guy I replaced, and he was a fully trained mortgage adviser, I'm not qualified yet but have spent most of the day sorting out his compliance issues along with one where he put the wrong address on this guys mortgage paperwork meaning he hasn't received anything yet, no offer or paperwork and means he is paying more coz his fixed rate has come to an end so been trying to deal with the lender all morning to get that resolved.
I do hope you stop having to argue with builders soon mate, I really don't envy you, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end!

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Well a month after it left NZ and bounced around Australia it seems my intercept notice worked and it arrived at my PO today. Got Jess to go get it before it bloody disappeared again! At least now I have something to give her for her birthday the night I get home! Well, apart from my normal giftD6Nutz wrote:That's truly sh1t! Surly if a parcel has traveled between countries then it has to be cheaper for them to try and contact you and keep it moving forwards..kiwikrasher wrote:Bl**dy barstards at Auspost. Jess' birthday present I bought online from NZ (some jewelry from a designer she loves) made it all the way to the sorting depot for our area 20km from my local PO, and decided that they could read the address. Since it made it to the area I'd say someone has been rough and damaged the address label. So even though it has tracking, and I'd registered that tracking number against my Auspost account, they have decided to send the f**king thing back to NZ. Then email me to tell me they have done it. Couldn't they have just emailed me for my damn address!!!! I rung customer services who put an intercept notice on the tracking number and hopefully catch it at the airport but I'm not holding my breath. It's her birthday the night I get home and I was hoping to have it by then

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Yeah was shaken at the time though. When we pulled over the driver and passenger were out of the car in a flash, aggressively charging towards my car and I feared for my safety so fled; especially given their aggression while driving to me and other road users. I called 999 and told them what was happening.
When I stopped at traffic lights initially they were getting out of the car again so I went through red lights and drove over curbs to get away from them. I lost them when I went into a pedestrian area.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Yeah.. they won't they said they were in lane 3 (literally impossible given the fact the 3rd lane at that time was oncoming traffic) and I was in lane 2 then looked across and drove into them twice.
My word against there's and no one else came forward at the time.
Only positive is my car isn't worth a lot and the damage is mostly going to t-cut out. Dent on the wheel arch and scrapes on the drivers side front alloy though. Might get the dent out

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Was supposed to be boarding the tunnel crossing and heading into Europe at 2.20pm today for 10 days riding alpine twisties.
Got 6 miles from home in the rain and bike broke down at 640am this morning. Two hour wait in the rain for recovery.
Looks like the intermittent cutting out that was going on last summer which I thought was fixed isnt.
Oh well I can stay at home and argue with builders instead. On that subject just got home and window fitter here to replace 10 damaged windows. They have sent the fitter but no materials life just rocks for me at the moment
