Re: What are you doing today ??
Realising that my future lies in a meeting I've got with my boss this afternoon.
She's already pissed me off today. She sent an email last night asking why I hadn't done stuff on a file when we had previously agreed we didn't need to do that stuff.
There's a mid year appraisal lined up for today. How that goes will probably determine if I can be arsed to hang around.

Re: What are you doing today ??
good luck Mr K, must be nice in someways to think you can go into it and say what you want to relatively consequence free knowing you have the other offer on the table.
I am feeling fed up today, everything seems to be going wrong like it has all month at work.
EDIT: I am now working out the best way to tell a client that her hopes of getting a new house are pretty much zero as her current property is still in its pre-emption period. Means Ive wasted a lot of time as she didn't disclose this originally, and beginning to feel like I've been played a bit and they hoped they could slip it past me.

Getting wet through, I was on a two man, two day job today, yesterday my Boss decided it was a one man, one day job. I’d love to know what the weather is like on his planet.
Surprise, surprise, I’m back there tomorrow getting wet again.

Today I have mostly been sitting.
2 hours in the departure lounge.
5 and a half hours on a Voyager aircraft.
2 and a half hours in a Vauxhall Zafira.
And a few more on the sofa, enjoying fussing, cuddles and kisses with the family.
Life is good.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Jess’ dad pulled through what ended up being a triple bypass and is recovering well, very happy. He’s on full time dialysis so he was a high risk for that op.
Appt this afternoon to find out Jess’ biopsy results, really hoping we have some good news there too.
And because I have the gift that never stops giving sorting out my admissions paperwork for my op in January.

The brush has all been burned away in those areas, so there's nothing to help keep the topsoil in place once it gets soaked.......so there'll be landslides/mudslides all over the place - there always is.

Just been to pick up my new glasses, you don't realise how bad your eyes are until you put glasses on that take you back to "normal".
I'm going back next week to get fitted for contact lenses, really don't want to be wearing glasses on the bike.

Feck all. I've slobbed out all day. The spiders have been fed and my daughter has been taken to dance. That's it.
I'm going to a mate's later for an early Christmas bash. His other half is Swedish so they have a Swedish Christmas party each year. It's worth it just for the meatballs.
