Re: Project ZX6R
Current shopping list:-
Grips
Mirrors
Axle nut
chain adjuster blocks
Carbon outer tank protectors
Tank protector
Link pipe
Power Commander
Maybe some rearsets.
The front wheel could do with being replaced as well. Mine has been dented by a pothole. Mike has bashed it out and it's reasonably straight but for piece of mind I would prefer to swap it. No rush though.

Re: Project ZX6R
Axle nut, adjuster block and titanium adjuster screws on order.
I don't think I'm going to get the tank back in time for Rockingham so the bike will have white plastics with a black tank, black rear cowl and black mudguard on it.

Re: Project ZX6R
I know you have a tank getting painted it it doesn't look too bad with that black one.

Re: Project ZX6R
Yep, I agree, the black tank does suit. But at the same time I think it screams "crashed bike".
Fingers crossed I'll have it finished by the end of the month and ready to ride. I can then bling it up a bit more over the following months.

Re: Project ZX6R
I'd be tempted to keep the black tank. I think it looks the dogs danglies against the black lower fairing.
Mirrors look good too

Re: Project ZX6R
Those are the stock mirrors.
That tank is dented, so it needs to be repaired and sprayed. It does look good but it's not worth the hassle now I've got this far. If the tank was mint I would leave it.
