I can relate to that quite well... I always said one of the advantages of my work roster is I get to be a parent helper at the school and on excursions.. till I actually did one
apparently it’s frowned upon to swear at kids that aren’t yours

I work offshore, I have to consciously think about not swearing when I’m back in civi life. When stress hits it’s hard not to slip into instinctive habits. Good news was it was effective!
