Re: Free IAM Taster Sessions
I've been put off this by the feedback i had from a colleague who went with the local group.
He reckoned they were fine on the training but went out for a long ride with them later and they rode like complete pillocks.

He did the whole course with them then went on a trip afterwards and said they rode like complete twats and were dangerous.

Re: Free IAM Taster Sessions
Fwiw most I expect that most IAM members are people who pride themselves on striving to ensure that they drive to a high standard. So I would expect them to be better than average riders/drives.duke63 wrote:IAM in general.Kwacky wrote:IAM in general or the hour long taster session?

I don't recall ever seeing any IAM driving/riding badly.
However.....
I have met plenty of them who have proved to be total & utter pratts.
That is not to say that all of them are. I suspect that the "claim to superiority" simply attracts a certain "type".?

Why not indeed, I have filled out the form, an hours taster sounds interesting.

Re: Free IAM Taster Sessions
What I mean by that is we should have buy one get one free, oh wait it's a free tester ! doh!
No you can keep your polite hi viz
Anyway I don't think any of these hi viz vests work to be honest, people who don't see you really do not see you, you could be dressed up in a bright pink bear suit they still won't see you.
How often have I seen ambulances and police cars with light and sirens going, and cars not even knowing they were there what hope is there for a small little hi viz with some twatty polite bull written on the back of it
