Make sure you don't get too close to his food, otherwise you'll be fine.

He rides a zx10r, is handy on mountain bikes, benches more than I weigh 16 times without breaking sweat and has a dream job. I hate him ;) (giggle)

What's it like at the moment? Not been for a couple of months. Was thinking of going over Christmas but. With the amount of rain that's fell i never bothered. I dont mind mud and water, but last time it rained heavy there were deep trenches filled with water on fast sections that nearly had me off

We postponed it purely because of the standing water .... its slippery at the best of times

Had an hour at the gym tonight but did cardio only with 20km in 45mins on the spin bike

Doing cardio at the start and the end of my workouts now. Need to burn off some of this fat.

That's what one of my trainers used to get me doing. Cardio to warm up and then end the session with a 1km sprint. Good fat burner and also helps with cardio recovery.

Sometimes we all need that different look on life dude, similar thing happened tonight, ive done all my upper body work out and weights on my legs also, I tend to finish by burning out on a spin cycle , so ive done 3 runs and first time at gym tonight and this lad walks in, braced up to hell on his right leg, gets in the leg press and goes for it whilst relaxing the braced leg, I just thought what a chief and got mad at myself for being a pussy and set a pb haha! Not bad for first time back haha

The gym is a waste of time this month. I've no problem with people getting fit as a new year resolution, but don't stand with your other half for 35 minutes using the lat pull down, spending more time talking and drinking water. The Smith was being used for squats, the squat racks for chest and shrugs, one Olympic barbell for curls, with no weights on it (there are weighted barbells up to 60kg for this crap) and so on.

Finally got my gym induction sorted out. Well, I say induction, it was more just registering my details and recording my hand print for access.

So back onto the weights next week.

In the meantime I've put the punch bag up in the garage and gotten some new gel handwraps to give my knuckles a break (the years of punching boards in Taekwondo have taken their toll), I'm doing ab work in the evening (sometimes!), hopefully should be on track for some good fitness work this year.

Good workout today. I actually enjoyed it. I guess with the gym being quiet helped.
