Re: What are you doing today ??
In the UK it is often referred to as a caution or citation, I believe that the current phraseology is :
"StMarks you do not have to say anything unless you wish to do so, but I must warn you that if you fail to mention any fact which you rely on in your defense in court, your failure to take this opportunity to mention it may be treated in court as supporting any relevant evidence against you. If you do wish to say anything, what you say may be given in evidence,"
But I'm sure Kwacky will know all the legal in-s & out-s.

Interestingly IMHO, in our increasingly cosmopolitan society, is that it is not explicitly required that the suspect affirm they understand the caution.Cav wrote:"No."

Not winning Powerball last night
Someone won it, one winner AUD 70 million.
Barstards!
That'd make my property settlement agreement so much easier "here's $35 mill, now feck off!"

That must be some pad KK, even in AUD 35 million should be enough for a fairly decent hovel.?kiwikrasher wrote:....That'd make my property settlement agreement so much easier "here's $35 mill, now feck off!"

Re: What are you doing today ??
Ha ha my pad isn't even worth a tenth of that mate. In fact both properties I'm buying her out of don't quite make 4% of that!
It was more the quip that if I had've won it, because we haven't settled yet I would have had to give her half, but just remarking how much easier that would have made things.
Today was not a nice day in regards to trying to progress the settlement, made harder by trying to organise things from the middle of the ocean and been told I'm not doing things fast enough.

Counting down the last couple of hours. About to go out on the forklift in the pissing rain and still got a stack of work to do...would love to be snuggled up in bed watching a film! Haha! I've become so soft in my late 20s!! [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

I've done bugger all. I started to take the cover off my bike but the heavens opened. Rehoused a couple of spiders, played some Star Wars on the ps4 and generally slobbed out.

Saw Star Wars 7 earlier. Liked it. Just refurbished my clutch master and slave cylinders. The rubbers were really badly perished and gungey. All stripped cleaned and built back with new seals and springs ready to refit and bled tomorrow. What a simple job it was. I haven't got a manual for it so just reassembled as per the old bits I had laid out.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Chores this morning. Put the Christmas decorations back in the loft, along with the last few unopened boxes from the move. Also took apart the extractor fan in the loft for the bathroom and it sends to be buggered, time to search for replacements.
This afternoon went "swimming" with the kids. They had the bouncy slide out again, so both kids are knackered. Result.
